Sometimes you don't even need to be in the picture to take a self portrait.

Do you use your tripod a lot? I probably don't use mine enough. I just set an elbow on whatever surface I can find to balance.

Aura: I use my tripod sometimes. most of the time i use the "steady myself on whatever is around" method. But when I do lights at night time or if I want to use my camera remote to take self portraits or something then I typically use my tripod.
I love the sunlight in this photo.
